Intrinsic Unsure of The Ugly Tree's Story

Summary

In a dense forest there were thousands of tall and beautiful trees, but there was only one ugly tree. All beautiful tree always mocked the ugly tree, it made ugly tree feel sad and complained to God. One day, a woodcutter came to the forest to cut all of beautiful tree. When all the tree had been cut done, a woodcutter saw the ugly tree. He though that the tree was useless for him because the wood was very crooked. Finally, all beautiful trees wasn’t save, but the ugly tree was stiil standing in the forest. The ugly tree was happy and thankfull to God. With all of her physical ugliness, she was spared from the woodcutter’s axe, she never complained again.

Characters

Plot
It plot’s story is forward, because the story is telling about tree ugly who is not thankful with her what she has at first. After woodcutter come to the forest to cut the tree, finally she conscious that hwer ugliness save her from the woodcutter. In the end, ugly tree become a tree that is always grateful and happy.  

Setting
Place: At a dense forest
Time: In afternoon, actually the story not show the time clearly. But, we can conclude that when the woodcutter works to cut the tree in the afternoon.
Atmosphere: Sad then happy

Moral Value
-Everything that God give to us is the best thing for our life.
-Don’t be sad with our weakness

-Don’t be arrogant people in the world

-We must always grateful to God

The Ugly Tree

 

Long, long ago, in a dense forest there were thousands of tall and beautiful trees. They were happy, but proud of themselves. Among them there also an ugly tree whose branches were badly twisted. Its roots had uneven curves. All the trees made fun of that ugly tree.

“How are you, hunchback?” the other trees always shouted and their laughter made the ugly tree feel sad. But, he never raised a voice against them. The ugly tree thought, “I wish I were as beautiful as the other trees. Why did God do this to me? Neither can I provide shade to the travelers not can the birds make their nests on me. Nobody needs me.”

One day, a woodcutter came to the forest. He took a look at the trees and said, “These trees are lovely. I must cut them.” As soon as he picked up his axe the trees became frightened.

‘Chop, Chop, Chop’ went the woodcutter’s axe and one by one the trees started to fall. “None of us is going to be spared,” screamed one of the beautiful trees. Soon that tree too was brought to ground by the woodcutter’s axe.

By now, the woodcutter had come near to the ugly tree. He had just raised his axe when suddenly he noticed how crooked the ugly tree was. “Hmm! This crooked tree seems to be useless for me. I cannot make long straight logs of this ugly tree,” he thought. And he moved towards another beautiful tree. The ugly tree heaved a huge sigh of relief. He realized that by making him ugly, God had actually given him a boon.

From that day the ugly tree never complained. He was happy with his crooked branches. He never forgot how he was spared from t he woodcutter’s axe, only because he was crooked and ugly.

Biggest Animal

Whales are the biggest mammal on earth.Whales can grow 95 feet long and weight 150 tons. Baby whales can grow 23 meters long and weight 3 tons. Altough  whales live in the ocean and seems like a fish, but they are mammals.They breathe through their lungs and hold their breathe when they go under water. If they can not come to the surface to breathe fresh air, they will be drown. 

In the winter, they go to warm water to breed. In  the summer, they go to cold water to feed. There are two kind of whales. Whales with teeth called toothed whales and whales without teeth called baleen whales. The toothed whales eat fish and squid, but the baleen whales eat small fish and plankton. They swallow their food without chewing it.

 

Whales are very attractive animal, they can perform a variety of movement. There are :

1. Breaching
When a whale leaps out of the water, sometimes twirling around, it is called breaching. This action may be  purely for play, or may be used to loosen skin parasites and other irritations the whale might have. Breaching is also believed to be a means of communication with other whales and is usually done in sets of between four and six.

2. Spyhopping

An activity in which the whale pokes its head out of the water, possibly to take a look around.

3. Lobtailing
This is an activity in which the animal sticks its tail out of the water, swings it around and then slaps it onto the water's surface. This produces a loud sound which is believed to be a means of communication between whales.

4.  Logging
This is when the whale is merely lying in the water, with its tail hanging down. Part of the head and back are exposed.

Whales have something unique, like dolphins communicate by means of sonar. They make clicking, grunting and whistling sounds which also act as a means of echolocation. These can be heard for miles under water, and can also be heard from above water. Whales are also thought to communicate by slamming their tails against the surface of the ocean which produces a loud splashing sound, an action called lobtailing. When whales breach, they are also thought to be communicating with other whales.

Hello everyone! My name is Igretia Diffa Aulia Qatrunnada, just call me Ige. I’m 15th years old and I was born in Bandung, November 7th 1997. I live in Candi Baru street number 1 South Cimahi. I have a little family they are mom, father, one brother, and one sister. I’m the fist child. My mother’s name is Lina Herlina, My father’s name is Iwan Ridwan. M. Ifky is my brother and Ignadia is my sister.We have the same age difference, but we were born in the same month in November. I’m in 7th, my brother in 27th, and the last my sister in 15th. My family is very meaningfull for me, they support me, teaches me everything about life. I’m so thankfull to them. For me, family is a place to have refreshing, story and share our experience. Family is power for me and I never won’t my family have divorced.

Now  I’m a student in 3 Senior High School in Bandung. This school is the best senior high school in Bandung even in West Java. I’m very lucky to be a student in here, because this school can help me to entered a good university easly. I will use this opportunity to achieve my dream, but its not easy. There are so many problem, challenge, and difficulty. I have to compete with a lot of smart and genius student. This makes me shake mental. Not only that, I must strong to face many type of friends around me. Sometime they can support me or makes me down.  From all, I can learn to be a more good human as student or friends. I like to learn everything problem that happened to me and I will get conclusion.

Actually I’m a labile person. When I must choose one from many options, I can’t make sure that what I choose is a best for me. Thats like my dream. I have  a lot of dream, but I’m always confused to choose one of them. I like to be a doctor because its cool profession. I can help many people, espesially my family. I like drawing too and I think I want to be architect. I’m always pessimist with my ability to hold my dream. But I will make sure that Allah always give me a best way and  best decision for my life. And the one important thing is I should be useful for others.
